Pressure regulator. Includes 2 black/red o-rings to seal the PTFE tube connection. O-RING NUMBERS 0010718 AND 0010721. This is the frequently replaced item in all Jura machines. The Membrane Regulator is located at the exitof theCP3 Pump and controls theline pressure; thus, the water flow isuniform and thepump is quieter. The pump will increasingly get louder if the Membrane Regulator is not functioning properly. It is one of the most commonly replaced parts due to scale build-up and broken O-Rings. It also is the easiest internal part to replace. Use pliers to release the Hair Pin Clip. Turn the Membrane Regulator counter-clockwise to release it from the Pump and make sure the Pump O-Ring is removed with the Membrane Regulator. The female threads inside the Pump may be slightly worn in older machines.
Please note the old membrane regulator is made of light yellow color plastic. The new regulator is made of black ABS plastic. It serves the same function, and change in color is irrelevant.
